The windstorm has knocked down powerlines on Saturna Island, which has cut power to our access points that serve Saturna and Pender Island; the outage duration has also outlasted our onsite battery backups. Local power crews have been assigned to the outage, and we are monitoring their progress to ensure our equipment comes back online when power is restored.
Equipment Outage on Orcas – 6/26/26 – RESOLVED
Technicians got the offending equipment online just before 9 am. All connections are up and running again.
