A lightning strike on Saturday, 8/22/2026, on our broadcasting equipment on Lummi Island severely damaged the equipment that serves the East/Northeast side of Orcas. (2nd strike in 26 years for our company. The first was last month.) All of Raccoon Point is out of the internet.
We spent yesterday assessing the damage and needed to get a tree climber to replace equipment.
