South Orcas Network Outage – 2021-06-25
We are currently experiencing a small outage for customers on the southern shore of Orcas Island. The cause is currently under investigation.
UPDATE: Orcas to Saturna Link Repair – 2021-06-21
Our technician replaced some hardware at the broadcast site on Orcas and adjusted the network settings of the radio once it had linked up with Saturna. At this point we are monitoring the connection to verify a successful repair.
Orcas to Saturna Link Repair – 2021-06-21
Our main link between Orcas Island and Saturna Island will be undergoing maintenance between 11 am and 12 pm; this may interrupt the connection for 15-20 minutes at a time. This is to address an ongoing performance issue.

We determined that a bad piece of equipment, which was responsible for transferring the feed from the mainland link into our server, was disrupting our connection. We have replaced the faulty equipment and connectivity has been fully restored.
Backbone Outage – 2021-02-17 – 0640
We are currently experiencing a major outage with our backbone connection. Our network is up and running, but there is no connection to the mainland internet servers. We are monitoring the situation to ensure connectivity is restored as soon as the backbone link is prepared. Thank you for your patience.

Lummi Outage Update – 20210212 – 1034
Puget Sound Energy has revised their time estimate, with a projected restoration time of 12:30.

The power outage on Lummi has lasted longer than anticipated, with a projected restoration time of 10:30 am. Our crew has gone over to Lummi to setup onsite backup power which will be utilized during future outages to maintain connectivity with the affected network area.

Local energy providers have estimated a restoration time of 7 am Friday morning for Lummi Island. At that time internet connectivity will resume automatically for currently affected customers. Please notify our office at 360-376-4124 if your internet has not resumed by 9 am.
