Our service to Buck Mountain and the Golf Estates area has been interrupted.  We are currently investigating the issue.

We are currently experiencing a service interruption for Customers in the Buck Mountain and Golf Estates area.  Technicians are onsite.

Route failure RESOLVED – 2021-09-28

Technicians have completed work on our network and all connections should be operating normally.  Please contact our office at 360-376-4124 or email support@orcasonline.com if you are still experiencing random, frequent drops in connectivity.

Route failure UPDATE – 2021-09-28

Technicians have completed a run-through of our network to remove and rebuild the routing software.  The system should now be operating normally for all customers; however we will be reviewing the results of our work over the next few hours and may need to make further adjustments which could lead to brief interruptions.  We will post again when the issue is firmly resolved.

Since yesterday afternoon we have observed disrupted traffic at various hubs across our network.  Analysis determined that our network routing was randomly failing, causing connections to drop for a few seconds at a time.  Our techs are currently rebuilding the routes; once completed normally connectivity should be fully restored.

Lopez Power Outage – 2021-08-12

An unexpected power outage on north Lopez has taken down our repeaters that serve southern Orcas and parts of Blakely.  It appears to have occurred just after 4 pm.  At this point OPALCO has not given us a restoration time.  We are monitoring the situation.
