All power has been restored on Orcas Island and local networks should be operating. Power is still out on Lummi Island with an estimated restoration time of 10:30 pm. Power is still out on Saturna Island with crews onsite.

Opalco is working quickly. Power has been restored to the Ferry Landing and Diamond Hill and network operations have resumed in those areas.

Saturna Island is currently experiencing a power outage that is affecting customers on Saturna as well as the north shore of Orcas. The outage cause is still under investigation.

Power has been restored to Eastpoint. Serving Saturna Island north shore/Eastpoint and North Shore Orcas Island.

BC HYDRO crew should be on site at 5PM today.
11:45 AM: A BC Hydro Power outage on Saturna Island has taken down our East Point AP which will affect some Orcas customers on the North Shore.
8:28 AM: A BC Hydro Crew has been assigned to the outage. There is no posted ETA yet.
