07/31/24 – Outage on Orcas
There is electrical work underway at one of our broadcast sites that serves parts of western Orcas, resulting in our broadcast towers going offline. We are working on getting generator power to the site, and are waiting for an ETA on when power will be restored.
UPDATE: We now have a tentative ETA of 3 pm for power restoration at the site. At this time we are unable to deploy backup power due to the location of the work being done.

Power had been restarted at the site. All the connections are up and running again.

Our broadcaster on Saturna Island that serves parts of Pender, Saturna, and Stuart islands has stopped responding to us. We are communicating with people onsite to diagnose the issue.

A falling tree had cut power lines at the property where our broadcast tower is located. Property owners have gotten power restored and the damage repaired, and all of our connections are back online.

A broadcast tower that serves Pender Island and parts of Saturna Island has stopped responding to our network. We are in communication with people onsite to identify the problem and restore connectivity.

Power had been shutoff at the site. Power was restored and all connections are back online.

A broadcast location that serves a number of areas in central Orcas Island has stopped responding to our system. We have a technician onsite diagnosing the problem.

Power has been restored to our site at the Ferry Landing, and all connections are back online.

Yard work damaged the local power link to the site of our broadcast tower in the Ferry Landing area. Power workers are on the way to repair the line.

Power has been restored to South Pender Island and our broadcast tower is back online.
