One of the repeaters that serves customers in the greater Eastsound area has stopped communicating with us. We are investigating the offending piece of equipment and expect to have connectivity restored within the next hour.

Work is ongoing on Saturna Island, but power has been restored to our Access Points and all connections should be operating normally.

BC Hydro’s crew has been assigned to the power outage at Eastpoint on Saturna Island. We hope to see power restored to our onsite Access Points within the next few hours.

Work continues on the power lines serving Pender and Saturna Islands. They estimate that power will be restored to Pender later this evening. The section of Saturna that hosts our Access Points that serve parts of Orcas, Waldron, and Saturna will likely be without power until tomorrow.

Our broadcaster on Blakely is back online.

Earlier this morning one of our local broadcasters on Blakely Island stopped responding. We are currently diagnosing the issue for the cause and proper remedy.
Power is still out for our Canadian broadcast points due to damage from the windstorm. Local power crews are currently onsite.

Multiple power outages have taken down our broadcasters on Pender Island and parts of Saturna Island. The local power company is already aware of the situation but has not given an estimated recovery time yet. We are continuing to monitor their progress.

We have lost power to our broadcaster on Pender Island due to a power outage, affecting customers on Pender and southern Saturna Island. We are monitoring the power company’s reports to ensure our system comes back online when the power is restored.
