A little earlier this afternoon one of broadcast locations that serves the greater Eastsound area became unresponsive. We are currently investigating the cause of the issue and are working to restore connectivity to affected customers.
5/16/23 – Outage on Saturna Island – RESOLVED
Power has been restored to Saturna Island and our broadcasters have resumed normal operations.

The power is down on Saturna Island, affecting our broadcasters that serve customers across Saturna. Local power crews are working on the problem, and we are monitoring their progress to ensure our system comes back up when power is restored.

Power has been restored to our broadcaster on Saturna and all our radios have resumed normal operation.

Onsite power work has taken down one of our broadcasters that serves customers on Saturna Island and Stuart Island. The work is anticipated to conclude within the next hour. We will be monitoring our connections to ensure they all resume operation when the power is restored.

Our technician found a defective port at the broadcast site. We swapped the ports and our connections resumed.

Earlier this morning we lost contact with one of our broadcasters that serves northern areas of Orcas Island. We have techs going to the site to diagnose the problem.
4/17/23 – Outage serving Saturna Island – RESOLVED
We managed to restore power to the equipment serving Saturna Island. All active connections have resumed normally.
4/18/23 – Outage on Orcas Island – RESOLVED
Power has been restored to our broadcaster on Orcas and we are getting positive responses from all the affected devices on our network.
4/18/23 – Outage on Orcas Island – UPDATE
Electrical work is underway at our broadcast site, the crews estimate a completion time of roughly one hour. We are monitoring our network to ensure that our system is fully operational when power is restored.
