A falling tree had cut power lines at the property where our broadcast tower is located. Property owners have gotten power restored and the damage repaired, and all of our connections are back online.

A broadcast tower that serves Pender Island and parts of Saturna Island has stopped responding to our network. We are in communication with people onsite to identify the problem and restore connectivity.

Power had been shutoff at the site. Power was restored and all connections are back online.

A broadcast location that serves a number of areas in central Orcas Island has stopped responding to our system. We have a technician onsite diagnosing the problem.

Yard work damaged the local power link to the site of our broadcast tower in the Ferry Landing area. Power workers are on the way to repair the line.

Power has been restored to South Pender Island and our broadcast tower is back online.
01/26/24 – Power outage on Lummi Island – RESOLVED
Work on Lummi has progressed to the point that power has been restored to our broadcast towers. All connections are back online.
01/26/24 – Power outage on Lummi Island
There is a scheduled power outage affecting the section of Lummi Island where our broadcast towers that serve northeastern Orcas are located. The outage has been underway since early this morning and we are monitoring the power company’s outage page for a restoration or estimated uptime.
01/17/24 – Power outage on Saturna Island – UPDATE
Our operational area on Saturna is still without power. Power company estimates place restoration estimates at early tomorrow morning. We will be monitoring our devices to ensure they come back online when power is restored.
Pender Island has also lost power, affecting one of our broadcasters that serves parts of Saturna Island. Crews are hoping to have power on Pender back by this evening.

The disrupted broadcaster has been restored to operating capacity and is passing traffic normally.
