Outage Update – Jan 13, 2021 – 1630

At this time there is no estimated restoration from Puget Sound Energy.  We anticipate that this outage may run into tomorrow, and in order to conserve operational ability and prevent possible damage to equipment, we are planning to shutdown our power generators at 10:30pm.  This will shutdown our equipment until power resumes, or until 7 am tomorrow morning when we will restart the generator.

Thank you for your patience as we eagerly await the return of our full system operation.

Power outage continued

This is the latest update from the OPALCO outage page.

UPDATE 5am: Crews still working on this issue. The winds are dying down so repair work may get easier. As there are a lot of mainland outages it could be sometime before power is back on from mainland. The crew has a plan for restoration once our mainland source is repaired but could still take some time to get everyone up and running. They have been patrolling and cutting out trees all morning. No estimated restoration time.
