Upstream provider just lost their generator. As a result our fiber connection is down. They are getting new fresh equipment in place. Thank you for your patience.

We anticipate that this outage may run into tomorrow, and in order to conserve operational ability and prevent possible damage to equipment, we are planning to shutdown our power generators at 10:30pm. Opalco reports that local repair work has been completed. We are now waiting for Puget Sound Energy to complete their repairs. No estimated restoration time has been posted yet.

Mainland Power Outage Effecting the Archipelago

Power Outage on Orcas Island
Shortly after Midnight a power outage effecting Orcas Island, Shaw, Blakely and parts of Decatur is effecting the network. The Orcas Online Core is Online but remote Access Points are down. Check https://www.opalco.com/outages/ for power information.
